Matex Awarded the “Sustainability Leaders Recognition” at SFIC Sol Awards 2023 – Press Conference

The Inaugural Sol Awards organised by SFIC and supported by DesignSingapore, Enterprise Singapore and Workforce Singapore - WSG, presented its worthy winners in this press conference.

Originally incepted as the Singapore Furniture Industry Awards (SFIA) from 2003 to 2013, the conception of the Sol Awards began with the intent to recognise and honour excellence.

In a rapidly evolving global landscape, where markets are dynamic, and consumer demands are ever-shifting, there is a need for an awards platform that not only acknowledges achievement, but acts as a catalyst for positive change.

The Sol Awards champions not just design innovation and sustainability, but also offerings of experiential excellence. It celebrates those who lead the way in such key aspects of our industry to shape the future.

The word “Sol” refers to “the sun” in several languages, the ultimate source of light and energy.

A total of 14 winners from 6 categories exemplified this energy; embracing change as a key to success in meeting the fast-paced needs of urban living through design and innovation, eco-friendly practices, and top-notch retail experiences.

Matex was invited to the SFIC Sol Awards 2023 – Press Conference held on 14-November at the Enterprise Singapore-Bugis Junction. We are very much honoured and privileged to receive the “Sustainability Leaders Recognition” Sol Award 2023. As a follow up to receiving it in 2022. We will continue to do our level best in every possible sustainable way to drive green excellence. Thank you for the continued recognition and affirmation of our efforts!
